HISTORY

The PANZERA Breuer mechanical watch range is based on classic German Bauhaus designed time pieces that first became famous in the 1950s and 60s. This minimalistic and timeless design is as contemporary and popular today as it was then.

Bauhaus was a revolutionary design school that emerged in Germany in 1919 and still remains very influential in many areas of design and architecture today. Their primary intention was to integrate art, technology and craftsmanship creating a new design philosophy of exceptional beauty and function. They believed that design of any sort ought to be considered a high art similar to painting or sculpture.

Bauhaus designs reflect the modernist and often minimalistic style that made them famous and timeless.

The PANZERA Breuer watch ranges capture all the key Bauhaus functional and design influences

PRODUCTION

From original design through to final assembly and quality control, the critical processes are carried out in our state of the art facilities in Australia.

All of our timepieces are cased up by master watch makers, and after five days of quality, shock, and water resistance testing each watch is logged in our database by it’s unique serial number. This serial number is the unique identity of every watch and is laser engraved onto the outside of every watch case.

After the packaging, labelling and sorting, all products are then dispatched from our Australian automated warehouse to all locations throughout the world.

Food, Bikes & Watches – Meet Eric Morris

From Southern Texas to Sydney Australia, Eric Morris continues on a journey inspired by a passion for food, motorbikes and all things mechanical.

At the tender age of nine Eric found himself Down Under, after his family decided to leave Texas in the United States and relocate to Australia. Whilst growing up in Australia, and especially during his high school years, Eric developed a passion for gastronomy.

After finishing school, Eric ventured to London on a quest for culinary knowledge and experience on the world stage, which he achieved working at the famed Italian restaurant Ottolenghi.

Returning to Australia with invaluable experience in London and as a newly certified Sommelier, Eric became a well known and iconic figure as Wine Program Manager for the uber hip “Baxter Inn” Whiskey and Wine bar in Sydney Australia.

Today Eric is the founder and proprietor of Clementine’s Café  Sydney. Clementine’s is a tribute to his grandmother’s name, and is hipster New York style diner meets sophisticated espresso bar. Apart from delicious food, coffee and witty banter, diners at Clementine’s also experience an insight into Eric’s passion for design and mechanical objects.

From the retro mechanical cash register on the shop counter to his vintage Honda motorcycle parked out the front, even the beloved coffee machine is a topic for enthusiastic and insightful conversation.

It comes as no surprise then that Eric’s watch of choice is a PANZERA Breuer 42 Republic Abyss mechanical timepiece. Featuring clean minimalist design and fully mechanical operation, the Breuer 42 Collection is an expression of modern vintage style, characteristics equally identified in both Eric Morris style and passions in life.
